| This year the at the Back2blues fest the bar was raised!!! I am honored to participate in this event and with the guys who put this thing together When I mentioned that the bar had been raised, it's my turn to embarrass Johnny Mannion, the Johnny Mannion Band was incredible!!! "Don't look at him"....a private joke... He and Greg (guitarist) are both very accomplished guitarists. Either of them can more than carry the band but they work together to create a huge sound and energy. They were really getting the crowd involved!! There is nothing about this band that is not going to get your attention. Kiethan, the drummer, MAN!!! Almost every drummer there was working for a position at the back stage door to get videos of this guy. Kiethan and Bassist Kevin are a finely tuned engine. Johnny, you have been blessed with a great band, brothers all. Shannon Coberly Trimmed And Burning amps and guitars. =============== Johnny, I would really like to add your songs to JAM Radio. "Can't Judge Nobody" is my all time favorite by you, (for that sake anyone) and I'd be glad to have you as the first guest blues artist on our radio. Love ya' man. God Bless, Mike Dollins =============== Hi Johnny, saw you and the band at the Blues Fest and loved you guys! Watching you perform put a big smile on my face. Thank you so much for coming all the way from San Diego! Can't believe you were willing to come all that ways, God bless you big time for that and thanks for being so humble. All the best to you! Jim Stobbe =============== Hey Johnny, You have a powerful testimony and gift. More people need to hear that you can be a Christian and play guitar the way you do! My bassist, Dennis Pinhorn really enjoyed speaking with your bassist Kevin and I know it was a good witness as Dennis respected Kevin. I met so many great people in the Lord that I will always cherish this trip and I will pray for a safe passage home for you and your family. Take care Johnny and thanks again for the kind words. If I'm ever down your way, I will let you know ahead of time. Be nice to do some things with you as well. God bless you Brother Danny Brooks =============== I caught your set on Sunday in Chilliwack - I was just taking a day off and ended up in Chilliwack. Watched the air show - then saw a poster for the festival -decided to check it out - there was no one at the gate - and so I cruised in - you and the band were playing. I don't do much regarding Christian - but it was amazing to hear the sound and words coming from your band... Thanks again for opening my eyes to something I probably should open my heart too.... David Breddam =============== Hey Johnny! Not sure if you remember me but I'm a good friend of Emo's and have come to see you many times, the last being the SBO finale. I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this site while surfing the NET. I thought you were long gone. It looks like you've found what makes you happy and I think that's great. I hope you put out a CD, I'd love to hear you again. You have always been one of my favorite guitarists, and I'm not talking just locally either. You play the way the guitar was meant to be played. I'd love to see you again soon so please keep me posted if you ever decide to play anywhere locally again. The Canada fest sounded like it was great. Take care. - Bob Rizzuti =============== God bless you Johnny!!!
